February Already?! Grit, Growth, and a Bit of Taliesin West Inspiration

PamDidner

January blinked away, and February feels like sand slipping through my fingers.

However, this year already has memorable moments. One of them is my visit to Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and studio, after the Copilot training with the Western Alliance Bank in Phoenix.

What struck me immediately was the intentionality – every space serves a specific purpose. Beauty works hand in hand with function, creating an environment where everything feels intentional rather than random.

Even more remarkable is the fact that Wright built it from the ground up – without electricity, running water, or any existing infrastructure.

It was all about grit, vision, and determination.

That grit, vision, and determination reminded me a lot of marketing.

You pour time and money into your efforts without any promises of results. If something doesn’t engage, you analyze, adjust, and give it another shot.

It is about grit, execution, and optimization.

Also, like Taliesin West, success in marketing hinges on intentionality – clear messaging, targeting the right audience, and understanding your core purpose.

Vague efforts lead to vague outcomes.

This year, I’m committed to being intentional in my marketing, but I’m also challenging myself to step up my speaking engagements.

I’ve broadened my focus beyond demand gen and sales enablement, sharing my approach on personal branding talks, test out a talk on go-to-market planning webinar, as well as creating fully customized Copilot training sessions that last anywhere from 2 to 7 hours.

It’s grit, intention, and pivot.

More new speaking topics are on the horizon – challenge accepted!

And on a quick note, I’ve been invited back to Johannesburg to speak at Standard Bank (yes, Copilot training!), but this time, I’ll be heading to Namibia.

Stay tuned for photos and stories!

Until then…

Keep iterating, keep being intentional, and keep shining.
