The AI evolution is happening right in front of us. Every company is experimenting, innovating, and adapting.
Where you stand depends on the kind of company you are.
If You’re a SaaS Company or AI Startup
You’re on the supply side of AI. It’s not optional – it’s your core capability. You’re in a race to innovate, differentiate, and lead. Getting ahead isn’t a choice, it’s a necessity.
If You’re a Consulting Firm or Agency
You’re also on the supply side. You sell expertise, which means building proprietary methods, aggressively testing tools, and packaging solutions. Speed also matters.
If You’re a Company Using AI
You’re on the demand side of AI. You don’t need to be first, but you need to be smart. Stay informed, remain curious, and start experimenting. Use AI features of SaaS-based platforms already integrated into your martech stack.
No budget? No dedicated AI team? That’s okay, you can still make progress.
Here’s the bottom line: You don’t need to be an early adopter, but you can’t afford to stand still. Find the balance between exploring AI and managing AI anxiety.

- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Treat AI like market trends, something to watch consistently, not obsessively.
- Experiment Ruthlessly: Use prompts, prototypes, and workflows to test if AI can actually improve your output.
- Learn from each other: Talk to your colleagues, share insights, and build a network of AI-savvy peers within your own team.
- Leverage Your Strengths: Use AI to amplify your unique skills, not replace them. Stay human.
What You Can Do as a Team Leader
- Set the Standard: Make AI a core competency, not a side project. Push your team to integrate AI into daily work, not just talk about it.
- Upskill Relentlessly: Create hands-on learning sessions with IT, data teams, or power users. Make AI a practical skill, not just a buzzword.
- Build a Knowledge Pipeline: Establish a regular “AI Wins & Learnings” ritual. Capture what’s working, what’s not, and adjust in real-time.
- Test with Intent: Launch small and high-impact AI pilots with clear goals. Measure outcomes and scale what sticks.
- Bring in the Heavy Hitters: If your internal teams are stretched, bring in external experts to jumpstart adoption and upskill faster.
